It won't work on 7. The minimum is 10 so in order to run it you will need at least windows 10 or 11.

"Will it run on a non-supported and outdated OS?" is a dumb question anyway. They're on their own. Windows 7 times are over. Now, it's all about Windows 10 or 11. That's all.

It might be, but there has been times when newer games still run on old unsupported operating systems.

Sonic Origins runs on 7, and it uses the same engine. There's a decent chance that it'll run. Maybe you'll need to get a Win 8.1 library at most.

Yes it is very tiresome, ever game I ask about usually does end up working. But I have to sift through pages of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who insist on pushing how they want to do things and label you rude when you call them out on it.
