thank you at least new insult, not that stupid "fat ,pillow" insults
Edit: Not saying the OP made it to be a troll thread but some people's reactions to the tag being on a Sonic game is amusing.
Edit 2: I believe as long as they aren't harming anyone else someone should be able to have fun however they want.
some people find that someone gets drooped from 3rd floor is funny,
some people find stupid pranks funny,
some people find it funny when they harass someone.
no, they already harming SEGA, imagine if you do sfw work and someone put an NSFW tag that can harm your sale or audience. (ruin the algorithm).
it is a devs job to put tags on his games
That's just what human nature is like.
But what you've just said seems rather extreme compared to people just joking about hunger, energy and sex. Humour is subjective and some people just so happen to have a sense of humour when it comes to dirty jokes, and I guess it because the topic of sex is a whole different can of worms compared to the more common human needs.
...So they shouldn't disable it then because you just suggested that tags should be curated by the developers. At the very least, I think it should be disabled for users to assign tags on games that have not been released yet because, well, obviously we can't accurately describe them yet.
While you say that users may troll with it, I know for a damn well sure that not every developer/publisher would even care to use it and I rather not have their games' discovery being hindered because you want to disallow users from using the tag system because of some dumbass minority.
Basically give the publishers option to
-Allow everyone to post tags (current system)
-Allow everyone to post tags but requires publishers approval before they appear.
-Allow only those who have the game to post tags
-Allow only those who have the game to post tags but requires publishers approval before they appear.
-Allow only those who have a certain amount of playtime to post tags
-Allow only those who have a certain amount of playtime to post tags but requires publishers approval before they appear.
-Only publishers can apply tags
Yeah indeed they are not harm at level other stuff you are mention it
But still that doesn't mean it's ok to ruin other people work if they want joking they can do that on their fanart.
Don't forget some people go to far remember that guy who pick other people fan art and convert knackles into black.
Idk I never buy games based on tags (maybe just 5 games)
But if there was a good dev who care about their own products and tag them very well why they should be suffer?
If you open the door, the troller will come.
