Can screen shake be disabled?

game has horrible screen tearing and there is no vsync option i could find under video options.

If you bring Gran all the way to the end and then jump back across the top you can get yourself on the wrong side of the purple mist with no way for Gran to get there to clear it for you, and if you hit a respawn trigger over there you have no choice but to restart the stage....
