For you "no problem" could be sub 40 fps with drops to 20 for all I know or you could have a god tier rig.
Mid to high tier rig here, 1060 6gb i7 4770k and I regurarly had dips to 40 on kiwami 2 and no amount of tweaks to the graphics settings changed anything. It's probably a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ port. Just look at the RE engine and the games they got so far, looks beautiful and runs beautiful on any system or doom eternal for that matter.
I personally think it's Denuvo causing the issue but whatever.
The engine used in Kiwami 2 is GPU heavy. So it does not matter which CPU you have (for most parts) and considering you are not mentioning it, we can not come to any conclusion if your PC was able to run it properly, or not.
I have a 1060 6gb and Ryzen 2600x and ran Kiwami 2 consistently at 60 for an entire playthrough (not just main game, beating Amon).
So you don't need a "god tier rig" to run it properly.
Read it again, I did write it. GTX 1060 6GB
i finished game on gtx 970 with 4770k and have stable 60 fps with no lags or other problems
now i have 2060 super and last time i check i have around 100-110 fps
upd. I remember what i have strange animations bug during fight scenes because of high frame rate and this is all problems i have with this game
