Getting a Business rank of 100 or higher unlocks the game's optional character, Eri Kamataki, who's really good with the Dealer class. Then, I believe, getting the top rank unlocks one of the most powerful summons in the game. Not to mention that once you start getting a lot of money in it starts making easy money that you can use to buy stuff in the game. When I first tried out the business sim in the game, it was a little daunting, but this Youtube video explains how to play it WAY better than what the game itself does.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9Fwd7LZJs0
The video explains that you should complete the Baseball star quest before starting the Business Management as that unlocks a really good employee early on. Once you get him, he's really good a leader, and during meetings he can pretty much defeat the early investors in two hits.
btw dealer has to be most boring job, no combos, no prompts just plain abilities.
Managing itself is pretty easy, all you need to do is winning on shareholders meetings and don't have negative profit, which i don't think even possible unless you completely mess up.
easy money early on, the second best DD party member with the highest DEX (perfect for Matriarch or Dealer) and the two final skills at Business Rank 1 (for Eri and Ichi).
it's not a part of the main story but adds some substories and makes life easier in the late game.
Hell, it makes life easier in the mid-game when Nanba leaves the party for a while before Han and Zhao join, so the only way to have a full battle team for a while is if Eri has joined.
For Y7, it was the only mini-game I interacted much with at all. I really didn't care to hit the batting cages, minigolf, or claw machines after Y0/YK/YK2 at least.
idk why you think dealer is best dd. What ability even best? Its pretty boring class that has no prompts with average damage and bad buffs/debuffs, might be fun for some time for some rng but thats it. I feel like people don't even count "mage" dd lol, which can be ridiciolus with proper gear and inherit.
From my perspective saeko hostess is better damage than any dealer, not to mention it actualy has usefull abilities for party, which becomes more important the more you progress. Even hero can't do all alone.
That character is decent, i mean its always nice to have more, but i think its best use in his exclusive class, just for debuffs and high chance bleed.
To be completely honest, there are already really good dd classes, that do good damage without rng, and have control or buffs, dealer has nothing, just average damage and some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ single target buffs/debuffs.
Hitman is to me is the best DD in the game, followed by the Matriarch (with Eri as Char).
I just mentioned that the Dealer offers some good Skills that go well with Eri's high Dexterity but Matriarch is the best for. Insane slash DMG single and AE as well as a great ATTK debuff.
my chars learned every Job available to them for the bonus skills as well so if I say "best" it means the final Job to go with at 99/99 with EX EX Weapons.
however, this is only for my personal playstyle after testing every Job in the game and for NG+ Legend lategame and the finale Towers.
to just beat the game in normal mode it doesn't matter much anyways, pick what you like the most and have a good time with it.
That being said it makes some chapters between 5 and 10 easier because of some character leaving the party by then and, when the company is rank 1, you will have an income of 3 milion yen running the minigame 4 times + beat the shareholders meeting (it seems much time, but you can hold R2 to speed up the business cicle. It would take only a couple of minutes doing the 4 mentioned runs + the meeting). You will need more than 20 milion yen to fully upgrade Romance workshop.
The minigame is also very easy if you had purchased the management set.
