I mean its like putting a candy bar behind a glass door with a padlock, less people are going to buy it cause its there and ultimately its an inexpensive item so thought it was a bit silly.

The DRM is the EA launcher which is pretty much in every EA game.

I have a number of games, including some EA. None that include origin. That includes the orig MirrorsEdge. And I had this in my cart until noticing the launcher/DRM nonsense.

Origin didn't exist when the original Mirror's Edge came out. Most, if not all, EA games that came out after 2011 or so have required Origin, which was replaced by the EA app. I don't know why you're surprised this game would require the EA app as well. As for your other non-EA games, why would they require it? Besides. why is this an issue at all? It's a totally insignificant inconvenience.

I have no love for either and I would prefer not needing an extra launcher, but that's a terrible reason not to play a great game.

funny part this game still need EA app well still need to be online to active it which sucks because this game is good. this is why i play on ps5. pc you need two accounts steam and EA account. Veilguard and dedspace remake dont need those. i hope i they updated this game or make a remastered.
