DualSense controller support?

Heyo, this is my first time asking on the Steam forums so I'm hoping I don't mess something up. Although this issue really is just controller-wise and that I have the game through EA Play on Game Pass Ultimate (instead of through Steam), I still thought I ought to ask here just in case.

Cause I got myself a DualSense for my PC (to leave my Xbox controller for JUST my Xbox, switching the pairing is annoying) and it works already pretty damn well with Steam games I got! When I tried on the EA app though, I couldn't get MEC to recognise it even as just a DualShock 4. I checked for different solutions, tried running the game through Steam by adding it as a non-Steam game but it still doesn't recognise my DualSense as either that or a DualShock 4.

I've seen around that it's due to the controller using DirectInput instead of xInput but, again, some games I have on Steam DO allow the DualSense on xInput or have everything set up on SteamInput! For an EA thing though (especially through Game Pass and not Steam), I'm not sure what to do.

If there's anyone that can help with that, I'd really appreciate it! And no, I don't plan on using DS4Windows because MEC is the ONLY GAME I got on the EA app. x_x'
