Fake release date + Denuvo
Why is it listed as released on this month when it was really released in 2016? And why do you use Denuvo on a 4 year old game?

Sorry I find that explanation hillarious. How come some games has a release date before Steam was invented then?

Because the publishers choose to do this to demonstrate their product is old and pre-dates Steam's existence.

Not sure why people nitpick and get mad at the smallest of things:lunar2019laughingpig:

Its false advertising. Illegal in many countries. A lot of players doesn't want to buy a game from 2016, only newer games. But the biggest problem here is Denuvo.

Not my problem if you don't see the problems @J4MESOX4D. Not gonna argue with somebody who doesn't even understand that.

I don't see any problems - the game released the other day and is great. You're just being a serial moaner and busybody with no tangible basis.

Game looks and plays amazing 190fps maxed out

I'm sure you can find something else online to get angry about.

Not even sure why you are in this thread. And I am never angry. Blocking you to not have to see more of your answers.

because its the steam release

But it should reflect the real release date, not the date it was imported to Steam.
There was no Steam in 1987 and no Steam in 1998, yet these two games show the real release date:

I'm pretty sure Steam allows developers to choose which release date to display - the actual release date or the date the game came out on Steam. Both dates are valid. As for Denuvo, yeah, it's silly, but it is what it is.
