Yeah still no clue if it's because CERO or else , the censorship seem...inconsistent , no panty shot in an adaptation of an echii manga but you can wear 2 piece bikini

Why do they bother? These are a bunch of imaginary cartoon characters. Why do we have a maturity rating for games if we are just going to censor everything anyway.

This means the company actually took the time and spent money on blocking something out just to appease some "karen" who won't be playing the game either way.

Does the censorship board really think these things are the disruption of society?

Just looks like someone at the company is trying to add their "worth" to the project.

Glad I didn't buy it yet. I was waiting to make sure any bugs and issues get resolved first, but the fact they decided to censor the game with a patch is more than enough reason not to buy it. I don't support censorship.

I was kinda interested when I heard there was a game of an anime/manga I used to really enjoy but the censorship and missing models of some characters is way too off putting. Censorship is alwaaaaays bad.

It is most likely a government board like CERO involved. Especially since all versions were censored world wide.

This was a change made for Japan. Otherwise they would have an uncensored version.

a lot of teen ratings game has pantyshot/bikini and cero don't have a problem with that.

and steam doesnt need any rating so it's not the reason.

Yes Fairy Tail is an Ecchi Battle Shounen manga The Anime is toned down version
Read the manga you will notice a huge difference in terms of content shown

Except the Fairy Tail OVAs is tagged Ecchi

Anime stopped toning down the Ecchi aspect around Fairy Tail 2014 ( Season 2 ) mostly there was still some scenes not shown T-T ( altered )

When
Fairy Tail final season ( 2018 ) came out the TV ver is censored again compared to the manga
