Cant change settings

starting the game results in a crash the first time i try
second try the game starts, but in lowest settings
tried to change it , needs a restart - while quitting the game crashes
try to start it again, crash on startup again
second try game starts but is in lowest settings

i have repeated the above sequence, so its every time the same

played it 41h on other systems, but this is the first time i try it on win10

any suggestions?

I have the same problem. After changing the settings an restart the game crashed. Then all setting are resetted

for me , the solution was the resolution

everytime i set it to 1680 x 1050 it crashes
i now run it at 1440 x 900, and it works perfectly fine on max settings

yes it work with 1600x1024. It's okay but not the best. My monitor runs on 1680x1050.
Good now I can play the game.
