Report a translation problem
Yeah i have the same issue. Since i'm playing in co op with someone in the same room I just send them to look for the trasure while I stay there, and they look on my screen. Haha.
But in all seriousness, for single players or distant online co-op players this is an issue.
Design oversight or bug?
otherwise it seems to be just marking it manually... I just look at the beacon then run in the general direction or memorise a few landmarks.
--EDIT--
haven't figured out yet if touching the beacon spawns the treasures or just shows them... since finding a dig spot before the beacon means it wont be there to see on the beacon.
