Disable Touchpad on Laptops

I know its a pretty niche suggestion but I play on a laptop and I constantly screw up my aim because my palm touches the touch pad while playing the game. My only option is to disable the touchpad through the device manager and this isn't an issue in other fps games I've played. A settings option or outright disabling it when a mouse is recognised would be wonderful.

i also use a laptop (a notebook to be precise), if your's is like mine it must have a command to disable the touchpad, mine is Fn+F9.
