After P-Ranking a level, the game gives you an option to restart that level from the beginning with radiant enemies and a countdown timer that once it hits zero, it spawns a Something Wicked that can't be hit. After finishing a lap, the game gives you an option to do another lap with higher radiance tier enemies and a countdown that starts with less time. This can be done an unlimited amount of times

Sounds more like a mod. I don’t think Hakita would want to reconceptualize every level of the game this late in development to just kind of rip another game.
