"but they said it would be hard, why are you complaining?"
ultrakill itself is hard and very daunting from an outsider's perspective. the gameplay flourishes from its high skill ceiling and knowledge of the advanced tech that isn't exactly required for bosses, but is very satisfying and rewarding to pull off if you enjoy speedrunning. the developers ruined this premise by throwing so many obstacles in your way before you had permission to fight the boss, which ruins the standards P-1 set; it was just you and two bosses, nothing else. this is all the top targets in the cybergrind that nobody likes thrown in your face before getting to the real challenge- minos prime but twice the size and twice the health. this was a letdown for both people who wanted something different and people who wanted a familiar experience. if a difficulty spike was to be mandatory for p-2, it should be a difficulty spike by the boss itself, not a difficulty spike by borderline cheating.
"but you can just dash storage to avoid damage, what gives?"
this is bordering on what hakita's bootlickers on discord would say about the whiplash; relying too much on one thing is bad game design, especially when it has no consequences. also, i didn't think to use dash storage because i never needed to exploit the game's spaghetti code before this update.
"skill issue"
go back to twitter
dumbass
Assuming they aren't trolling it effectively means: The reason you aren't having fun is because your skill is too low for the content, there are various fixes, such as working on getting better or lowering the difficulty.
While if you truly believe skill isn't the issue causing you to not have fun, know we disagree and find the content fun.
yes, i know "trolling" is a thing of the past and that people are genuinely stupid enough to spout phrases they already heard out of someone else's mouth instead of taking the time to actually think about what they want to say.
i can explain why i hate the level as much as i do and you can't, because i already know you only argue in pre-recorded messages. your opinion is automatically worthless to me.
"I can explain why I hate the level as much as I do and you can't" ... Yeah, you got me there, I can't explain why I hate the level... Seeing as how I don't.
welp, i guess i should stop bothering with this conversation!
