ULTRAKILL

The game is suddenly very laggy even tho it was fine when i launched it the last time
After adding a healthbar mod i noticed that my game is getting laggy so i just stopped using mods but after i launched the vanilla game the lag is always present. i tried restarting the game but the lag is still present and i have run vanilla ultrakill with other apps in the backround before without a trace of lag so i have no idea why its suddenly as laggy as it is now (the lag is happening when more than 5 enemies are on screen btw)

same thing. And I noticed that when I look at a "special" angle, my fps drops very much
you can try deleting all the r2modman data files that were linked to Ultrakill. You can find them in r2modman settings

Is your computer low-end by any chance? You can try to use "-useallavailablecores" (uses all your cores in the processor, use it if your processor is multi-core) and "-force-glcore" (Uses GLCore instead of DirectX 11 to render the game, may cause some visual bugs like blood suddenly disappearing.) codes in the launch settings in game's settings on Steam (do not type the quotation marks while typing the codes). You can also make the game more PSX-ish to make the game lag less.

I deleted all the files that were linked with ULTRAKILL on my system, and the Steam Cloud files too. It helped a bit, but the game still lagging. and the PSX grafic mode wont help you. This option will not render image in low quality its just an image filter that making image worse but you dont get amy perfomance impovements by it. I think the lags start after the last update not after installing mods.
I dont think that my pc is low-end for this game. I got gtx 1650s i5 9400f and 16gb ram. it just should not lag

yea its preety wierd because the lag started for me after i installed the healthbar mod :P and i think that it has something to do with gore and explosions (or just enemy count in general, i literally cannot play anything after wrath) seeing that for me even the damn knuckleblaster lags the game now

Yeah, using all your cores may be a bad idea if you have less than 4 cores or something. Just use GLCore. Only downside is visual bugs, which you can easily miss, considering that ULTRAKILL is fast paced.

After returning and experimenting a little it seems that its not mod lag at all, instead its the quantity of enemies that are somehow causing all that lag (and with gore off they stop but the ragdoll mechanics also cause this problem((when using saws i just get a powerpoint slideshow with crunching ragdolls in the backround))
IDK why it just randomly started doing it but ill just see if my drivers are updated since maybe that is the source of the problem(edit: It wasn't)
