Whiplash binding got +SCRINDONGULODED

Soo I was editing my arm binds and then when I cleared then when I cleared the bind for the whiplash (which was T in my case) the option to change the bind for it was completely deleted. I tried beating v2 again and reequipping the whiplash in the data terminal, but the whiplash bind was still gone in the controls settings.
what the frickety ♥♥♥♥ do I do

I have found a fix for this as another fellow mentioned. Head to the Steam/steamapps/common/ULTRAKILL/Preferences. Right click on "Binds," then "Edit with Notepad++" (note that you have to have notepad++ installed for this) then replace everything under "Hook" with

"path": "<Keyboard>/r"
}
then click on file and then save, and you have officially -SCRINDONGULODED your whiplash binding.

I had a similar experience, which is actually something that happened to me twice: I was playing as normal and then, seemingly out of nowhere, the Whiplash binding just stopped working. I went into the controls and while my (custom) binding was still there, there were also two red LB+RB bindings, which is particularly weird considering I don't even use a controller to play the game.

That said, in my case I just reset the binding from the menu itself and everything worked just fine again, though I haven't been able to figure out what causes it.

Another way to fix it is related to a settings bug I just posted about and do not know how to fix.

You just have to remove the binding and replace it to the original one every time you load into the game until the settings bug has a fix, unless I don't know the fix to it.

(Basically settings get set to a bunch of random things whenever you log in consistently every time)
