ULTRAKILL
Constant lag and frame drops
tl:dr for tech people

Ultrakill and Dusk are lagging constantly on a system that should be able to play them easily, no other games are doing this. I can run Halo MCC, Doom Eternal, RE2 (remake), Destiny 2, and several others at decently high settings if not max.

Keeping Dusk installed on my C drive mostly fixes the problem, Ultrakill does it regardless.

Long version:

I've been trying to play Ultrakill for a while now, about a year, and yet on every device, drive, and setup I've tried to install the game on, I've been getting constant frame drops, lag spikes, and stuttering. I've tried turning on every performance setting, I've tried changing the resolution or downscaling, I've tried playing both with and without v-sync, I've tried messing around with NVidia profile inspector, I've tried windowed mode, nothing I do seems to make a difference, and it's been on every device. It happens about once every 5 seconds after just starting a stage, and doing or triggering literally anything makes the game borderline unplayable. I say borderline because I somehow put up with it long enough to beat Act II several months ago, but I was stuttering at least every second. As far as I can tell, Ultrakill isn't overclocking or anything.

I've been looking for solutions for a while now, I can't find anything I haven't already tried multiple times by now. I'm not sure what I'm missing.

This is my current setup, please tell me if I've forgotten anything.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz 3.19 GHz
16.0 GB RAM
NDIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
PRIME B365M-A
Windows 10, 64-bit

Edit: Guess I can't say every device anymore. Just borrowed a friend's laptop for testing, didn't even check the specs, and it runs flawlessly. Just my last 2 laptops and my current desktop that can't run Ultrakill apparently.

Might've also posted the specifications out of order, haven't done this in a while, sorry in advance.
