Black screen bug(?)

Whenever I start the game it just infinitely keeps loading. I know the game doesn't freeze because the fps counter continues being active but it never loads. Tried to wait a little bit and the game didn't stop ''loading'' even after 30 minutes in. Does anyone else have this problem?

Sounds like your generalprogress save got corrupted at some point. You'll have to disable Steam Cloud for the game and then go to the Saves folder in the ULTRAKILL directory and remove the generalprogress save.

You'll have to redo the intro and gather your guns again, but your ranks and level progress will remain.

Also, after doing this, I was able to play the game but, is it normal for Death at 20,000 Volts to be broken? It doesn't really affect me as I was able to do everything in the level, including getting the railcannon, but it bugs me out since it prevents me from getting a P rank in Act I.

Neither the point counter nor the tab menu change mid-game, and whenever I die it won't let me respawn and when I beat the level it doesn't load the next level, so it just seems as if I was falling infinitely.

(I activated cheats and paused so I could get a good screenshot, the pause menu and the cheat menu are the same as always.)

If it's 2-2 specific then it's probably the rank save for that level causing it. Probably corrupted like with your generalprogress save. Should be lvl11progress.

this bug is happening to me, but deleting generalprogress.bepis doesn't do anything. also i'm getting 3,000-4,000 fps. i really don't want to delete my save, as i just finished p-ranking every level.
