how can we access 7S?

hi so i've just booted up the update and i've made a beeline toward 7-3 to unlock the door to the right at the start of the level, assuming i'd just need to douse it with fire to open it. turns out the gate opens fine but the weird plants don't burn and still block the way. i got in anyway using sliding but thats a softlock, the secret exit doesn't open. did someby find out how we can properly open the gate and enter the secret level?

as a lil update, none of the new variants can break this thing. no sawing it away, electrocuting it. i'm thinking this exit is triggered by advancing the level?

the oil works agenst the gated door, so you can slide though, however the main level door is closed off, I try lighting all the trees but it didn't work, my guess you need to be mark for death in order to access the main door.

edit; OK mark for death doesn't work, i am going to activate all trees, while mark for death and see what happens, ok non of it worked, try bieng mark for death, try the trees but for some reason cant access the door, I figure this out later, maybe it in JHONTRON level

i didn't update the thread my b, the streetcleaner strat is still the way to go. what you can do is just traverse the level normally, then when you encounter the 2 streetcleaners you'll have to backtrack and use the grappling hook to yank them in the main "area" with the big tree and 3 skulls. then you bring it to the start of the level and make it burn the thing for you. this triggers the secret exit to open.

as said before, you can slide into the exit using oil, but that is a *softlock.*
