Why our community acting like a femboy or gay?

Half of the page is filled with photos of Gabriel's body pillows and the other half with photos of men wearing pantyhose. I find it strange that the community has become so politicized when there are no references to any particular group in the game. I created this discussion because I don't know the reason.

Unless my post is about gameplay nothing I say here is remotely serious.
If I wanted meaningful conversations about politics and such, I wouldn't come to the steam forums of a game whoms fanbase mostly seems to be actual children.

My understanding of the actual unironic reason is Gabe's voice actor makes a lot of gay jokes and people just sort of ran with it and then ran the joke into the ground and people started to really latch on to it.
