Just guessing how would the Brutal Difficulty be? would the enemies have new attacks and abilities?

hope it's not like more damage and speed and more health and shi

i think the strays might use both hands to shoot 2 orbs, and the maurice also might be always enraged, cerberus will get mad at half hp and might even throw their ball further like a true baller

it will be brutal, but jokes aside i think it will be like violence but with damage multiplied and a lot of the enemies having new ai, like that one video where the filth are jumping

I was under the impression difficulties don't affect health or damage. I've never noticed any dif with those, but I've only bothered to play the standard difficulty and the hardest one.
I'd expect enemies to have less parry opportunities, more grey damage (which does seem to differ on difficullties), maybe mechanics like street cleaner dodging having more charges to it so it doesn't make a difference if you fight them correctly and punishes doing it wrong

I don't think they'll increase damage. I think Hakita has been against it from the start seeing as how he hasn't done that with any of the 4 existing difficulties outside of the the lowest one where you have 200 max hp iirc.

I'm expecting:
1: Faster Enemies & Projectiles.
2: New or changed mechanics for enemies.

And I'm all for it.

So far what I've gathered from playing on every difficulty is that:
Enemy damage and health does NOT increase, but hard damage only exists on standard and violent.
Enemies get quicker from harmless to standard and their projectiles increase speed on all difficulty.
Dashes refill at a slower rate the harder your difficulty gets.
And on Brutal we're expecting better enemy ai.
Here's a crazy idea that probably wont happen. What if they made the hard difficulties like NewGame+? You can only access the hard difficulties on saves that have completed the whole game, you keep all your weapons, and all the encounters have been upgraded to match and give you a challenge again.

Kinda like MGR:R you know? The funni game.
