What does the multiplier do?

Basically whenever you jump or slide a multiplier will appear and go up to 3.00 . I know it’s supposed to increase your score/style, but does it also increase damage or what?

typically in a multiplication, the multiplier dictates how many times the multiplicand will get added to itself. hope this helps.

Higher style rankings make the player take less hard damage. When under ULTRAKILL style ranking, whiplashing enemies does not deal hard damage to you.

thats not how that works

hard damage depletes faster depending on what style rank youre on, not just directly through points
