ULTRAKILL
What is something you really like about Ultrakill?
Personally, I really like how you can get perfect ranks, be a godly player, and simply do all of it by just having fun and enjoying yourself. Like this game balances difficulty and fun almost perfectly.

ULTRAKILL has some game-y mechanics such as hitstops and open windows. It makes it possible and believable that a machine like V1 can be played by a real human and still pull off crazy ♥♥♥♥. Doom Eternal is another example of such mechanics, but of course different for that game: it seems to hold your hand through everything and frankly I hate it, but I guess both games utilize this in order to be actually playable.

Lmao this makes it look like he got banned for saying parry

but honestly the creativity offered to kill the enemies, like there are like 3 different weapons for every situation that are all viable

the fandom is friggin crazy and i love it
Gameplay. 👍 :D
The options menus. Hakita was incredibly thorough in adding so much accessibility and customisation. I love it when a game lets me truly personalise my experience; it's much more rewarding and really enjoyable to just spend some time tweaking things.

Turning hitstop off should be a vanilla feature though, especially since turning off the parry flash exists now too. Hitstop feels awful.

Slows down the game when you do literally anything to your enemies. I don't like it when my game has a non-linear flow of time.

That kinda makes sense, it just stops the game abruptly when you do anything heavy which i bet would throw off some people. I feel like its essential though cuz it gives me time to think about what im gonna do next and sort of amplifies how powerful what your doing is.
