20 round magazine
Alt-fire to reload
Recharges with blood drawn from other weapons, rather than cooldown-based
Electric: The standard firing mode.
Screwdriver: 8 round magazine. Plants stickybombs that detonate upon being damaged with punches or other weapon. Requires more blood for a full mag than Electric. Stickybomb explosion increases blood draw distance similar to drill
Malicious: Five round sniper rifle with a smaller AoE than the rail cannon
With the malicious, it is a melee weapon.
With the screwdriver, you detach the demon core and temporarily create a deadly irradiated zone.
So far every alternate has made the weapon stronger at the cost of losing speed and versatility, but it's already the pinnacle of strength over speed. Maybe they'll do something like a persistent beam that drains charge over time, but that isn't very interesting.
The biggest problem with making one is that every single variant has an entirely different function.
