weapon variation memory issue

i like most of the red and green variations of weapon modes but it doesn't remember what i had equipped when i swap for another weapon and back again. remember weapon variation option is toggled properly but still no dice

I have the same problem but I'm just gonna assume the big changes to the game messed up a few smaller things and it'll get fixed in the next small patch.

same problem - swapping between weapons always takes blue variation

Same issue here! I have no clue why, but after playing around a bit it seems like the "Remember last used weapon variation" doesn't do anything. It gets worse with the "Switch to last used weapon" option, switching to the last variation used (if you were changing between them), when before it would outright switch to the last weapon used.

Here's to hoping it's just a temporary bug since it's just the first day

Can confirm I'm running into the same issue, it's especially egregious since I have the alt shotgun for the blue version but regular versions for the other 2, so if I try to switch to a shotgun to projectile boost it only goes to the alt version

This bug seems to not effect everyone, since my weapon layout works the same as it did before the update (I even rearranged some things and that was respected as well).
