Even without the penaltyless autoaim setting that can cover your entire field of view in play, there are:
It reduces the amount of variables that determine rotation speed. I figure going from a game with it to one without it makes it take extra work figure out the in-game sensitivity value.
the floaty aim comes from input lag and that's cuz the game isn't exclusive fullscreen (still pretty shocking no one notices this). also raw input bypasses windows pointer speed so it does the opposite of what you're saying
drop this suggestion in this forum's suggestion tab, then pray the devs care.
maybe drop it on the devs' discord server if it contains a suggestion channel, then pray the devs care.
sincerely can't help you further. that said you're more likely to get serious answers there than by dropping a "wtf devs, couldn't you code this obviously essential feature" in steam forums general discussions.
depressing, i get. but people not noticing ♥♥♥♥ is unsurprising imo.
you'd think *someone* who plays cs2 or some other comp shooter where they optimise input lag in like 50 diff insane ways would notice. the big tell usually is alt tabbing immediately instead of the monitor/computer being like "oop give me a sec, black screen time"
ive googled it before and not a single person has brought it up lol which is why it blows my mind
