Will there be a Nintendo Switch port when the game is finished?
Hi! I'm very sorry if this was answered somewhere else, I tried to look for it but wasn't able to find.
Since I mostly play games on my switch (bad computer moment) I was wondering if there's a port planned for when the game is done? And if so, will it have motion controls?
One of the things that kills me the most when something is ported for the switch is when they don't support motion controls. especially with shooters, so I was really wondering if, in case there's a port planned, motion controls are also included.

Most likely, yes.

for a game like this, playing on the switch would be a massive disservice

buy a new computer
if you have a bad computer it could probably run it better than a switch

Id recommend playing this on a traditional mouse and keyboard, the pace of the game is insanely fast, playing this on console will actively be harder than playing it on pc.

that being said it is pretty likely there'll be a switch port for this game, new blood (the publisher) is very good at porting their full releases specifically on switch (because theyre a nintendo publishing partner), from my knowledge dusk, amid evil and dusk 82 are all on switch, so we'll just have to wait and see!
it's horrible on steam deck, and playing it on the switch with a smaller screen and even smaller grips sounds unplayable

(I hope I'm doing the answering right aaa)
Thank you! While I'm aware that playing on keyboard and mouse is far better, I still feel more comfortable with a controller and I generally like having the games I like on the switch because of that.
Do you know if the games New Blood already ported have motion control?
(For reference, I play Splatoon on the switch, and motion controls on a shooter are something essential to me, especially for faster paced stuff)

half the controls dont even work on a controller to my memory. The game would be near impossible to play on a controller

Switch is called the Switch because it can switch between handheld & docked mode. The last Playstation I bought was 2 and the last Xbox 360 so I don't know how they're doing right now with gyro aim but the Switch has that so if they don't the Switch would be the best non-PC way to play.

if it weren't for the fact it runs like a 360

Horrible news for someone wanting to run a game that looks like it's from the PS1.

if it was it would still look better than first-party switch games
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

eh I just feel like the only way to make the game playable on console as it is on pc is for gyro controls
