Malicious railcannon is terrible. (on it's own)

All the time. Instant explosive hitscan that does huge damage and decent aoe, only doing half a revolver's shot less than the electric railcannon. Seems better in every way to the electric. Sometimes I even use it instead of nukes just because an instant and deadly hitscan explosion is occasionally more effective.

Hmm... you make a decent point, I just don't think I'll use malicious railcannon on it's own, sure those uses are okay, but I'd rather reserve my railcannon shot.

The screwdriver messes up enemies bad. Mindflayers are hard countered by it, even harder than the rest of the enemies in the game.
I prefer my railcannons for destruction and aoe, but the screwdriver can't be overlooked for what it does.
