“The game will stay in Early Access until the third and final act is complete.”
-ULTRAKILL store page
This game is done when it's done.
Imagine thinking that is a sane estimate to give consumers. This is some Jake Paul stans doing free PR for his Lunchly mold ♥♥♥♥.
I saw there was no estimate, which is why I'm asking.
It's not that it's an unreasonable question, but that people insist on asking it an unreasonable amount of times.
If they go around doing it *after* being told that people will flame them for it, not my damn problem.
It's only 20 really, the others are more than a year old. There was no answer though, just guesswork, so here I am. I don't care if you are annoyed, it's not your door I'm knocking on. I am looking for someone informed to give me an estimate. There must be an estimate of a year at least.
There is no way to know. We used to think the game would be done in two years max until Hakita started making unnecessary visual changes.
It's done when it's done, and it'll be announced as done once the final levels have been released.
the things that the game is currently missing are:
- old level/various visual revamps (close to done)
- enemy rewrites (little information on how close it is to being done, but it might be close since theyve began feeling comfortable enough to show it)
- fraud and treachery (cant start until enemy rewrites are done)
- 8-S (obviously requires act 3)
- P-3 (will likely release alongside 8-S)
- ULTRAKILL MUST DIE (the final, hardest difficulty)
- custom level support (not necessary for full release, could come post-1.0)
