Will this ever be finished? *BUYER BEWARE*
as title states, will this ever be finished? All this time and supposed updates but you cant even add achievements or cards? Dev always states "when the game is finished" As if to be mysterious or something :theskull: Not even to actually update the consumer. If i could refund early access games that just dangle the carrot in front of you, this would be the first.

Unfortunately it seems New Blood allows for games to never be finished. - EOR

Edit: THIS GAME IS A SCAM AND WILL NEVER BE FINISHED. *BUYER BEWARE*
This game is close to being considered abandonware

Wait a while. It is beign finished. The progress is shown too.
why would they bother adding achievements to an unfinished game

Dusk, Amid Evil, Dusk'82, FAITH, and Bloodwest are all NewBlood games that are finished.

Hence me asking when are they going to finish. however PLENTY of other very decent games have done this and simply continue to update them as they progress. Its not hard or something out of the norm

I know and who knows by then what will be out that is going to be completed and ready to go with all the features attached. I dont want this game to be forgotten like that but time will do what time does. :(

Very sad but we keep pushing I guess :/ unless the Dev decides enough is enough

okay.. that doesnt mean every early access game should spend their time creating and maintaining achievements instead of focusing on finishing base game content

it is though lol.. only 8 levels remain out of 45 (including prime sanctums and secret levels), the final arm variant, ULTRAKILL MUST DIE difficulty, and official custom level support which will probably come after full release

its been 4 years since early access and the game is only growing. its fine.

Yea I don’t think so. 4 years for some random almost indie game? You are absolutely out of your mind. I can’t even imagine trying to justify that. In this day and age? Imagine this, Balataro was made by like one dev and has all of the above and is still being updated. So please give me a break 🤣

Why don’t you try to reach out to the devs for any update? Oh wait because again they are attempting to play mysterious instead of providing update for something people paid for.

Another example is Gloomwood, Fallen Aces.

Same company. Same Response from the devs on these. It’s not just a one time thing. If you continue to provide them money and justify these things they become normal.

Ultrakill had huge success so they expanded the scope of the game. Compare lust to violence. Example, compare silksong development time to hollow knight development time. Same team, same effort, bigger scope and bigger time.

Again, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BwiuLOjxJs, there are updates. This is plain false.

I cant say much since i havent played gloomwood or fallen aces, but its been just 2 years since gloomwood early access.

And what would be bad? Early access? Ultrakill would have been far worse without it. The time? Not avoidable. Again, increased scope, increased time.

What do you want? Devs to keep their scope at the same level? Games to be released all at once? Developers hacking you and finding your email address to daily send email to you of what progress they did? Again, hakita has a youtube channel. And thats not even his main way of communication.
