One possibly stupid theory about God (unmarked spoilers in thread)

He sent himself to the 9th Circle of Hell.

Seems like a huge stretch, but from what i've seen of the game's lore, it's apparent to me that God carries a LOT of self-loathing since his multitudes of failures in creating life that eventually led to the creation of hell, a sentient prison that he can't unmake and also carries a lot of shame in its creation. Part of me wonders if his disappearance could be the result of a self-imposed exile, and I think in the eyes of an all-powerful self-loather, he would fit the bill for being punished in the 9th circle on account of betraying himself for making creations as flawed as he is, and betraying his creations for the creation of hell.

Good theory and would make a good layer 9 but how would a bossfight be if there is one sense its god and u can't beat god lol

I imagine you wouldn't fight God per say since he'd likely want to die. Rather, Hell would much more likely do what it can to prevent you from killing him.
