Def gabriel. He's the antagonist (yes I know he's the main character in the lore) the entire game has been building up to, he's the one who's been the final boss at the end of each act, so he will be the final boss of Treachery.

Very likely Gabriel, but could be a DMC 3 thing where V1 and Gabriel fight hell together and then have one last duel. But considering the "hell is alive" info is exclusive to the ARG and 1 hidden lore book in 7-4, I'm placing my bets on Hell either never being fought (which would be very sad) or Hell being P-3.

I feel like the text on picking up the book was V1, not hell, personally.
