Parryability is per damage instance not the whole combo and some bosses will flash blue before one swing and yellow before the next to indicate that only the later swing can be parried.
Weird, but parries don't always stop the attack. In such cases you get healed but still get the hard damage or die if max hp was below the attack's damage.
For some asinine reason one enemy's parryability glow is purple. Parry when you see that for kill faster(even faster if parrying with the shotgun).
Regular red-ish orange projectiles move at normal speed.
Blue projectiles move slower than orange ones.
Also, you can parry both.
Which enemy is this one? I can't seem to remember off the top of my head.
