act 3 is just going to be dissapointing, here is why

because the version of the game that most people imagine in their heads is not gonna be the one that will end up in the retail game

but i know the original vision of the dev is different from mine so there is a good reason to curb the enthusiasm.

it's the same reason why people disliked p-2 on release, and i personally think it will be the same reason for people having grudges with act 3 when it releases

it is tough but you should expect that given that the game takes into account you've beaten minos and p ranked act 2

Please, realize that developers won't cater to your little image that you've made of the future game. Alot of my own speculative theories have been crushed and I'm expecting even my best theories to get debunked later too, but that's just how it is.

i thought all the p-2 enemy encounters were very fun and well designed. As well as challenging.

i thought all the p-2 enemy encounters were very fun and well designed. As well as challenging.

The encounters are super spammy and just feel like what a novice would imagine a hard level to be like. Some areas that seem hard aren't and some areas that seem easy aren't.

The two sections of the level (double mindflayer and idoled stalker) are hard because they're uncomfortable, they aren't fun.

I've played my fair share of P-2 and honestly the level's current merit comes from it being uniquely designed and the hardest level in the game. Once P-3 releases, P-2's charm will fade away and people will come out calling it overrated for it's time.

as someone who has actually taken the time to master the level, what the ♥♥♥♥ are you saying

the double mindflayer room is GENIUS, it forces you to deal with a regular encounter while also focusing on dodging and parrying the mindflayers attacks, on top of that, since you cant kill them, you cant just kill them first then move on to the rest of the enemies, you have to be able to multitask and kill enemies as efficiently as possible to not die

the idoled stalker room forces you to be fast and kill enemies quickly while also not relying on healing since most enemies will get sanded sooner or later, and if you are fast enough, the stalker pretty much becomes a minor inconvenience, as youll be killing enemies before it can even reach them
