I wanna know if anyone else feels this way. This game is a lot of fun and I really enjoyed the first two layers, but I honestly would have rather waited for the full release to play it, because now that Godfist suicide is out, I don't have the same motivation to keep playing the game. Not that I don't like the game anymore, just that the drive to play it is pretty much gone.

did that for a couple of months, then played the new layer for like half an hour (the rest was being afk), levels were pretty fine, but waiting months for 4 levels seems too much and will forget about ultrakill for another cca 8 months till it gets new levels and updates

Maybe you should do exactly that, wait until the game is fully released instead of consuming what is pushed out bit by bit. You could even wait until they release the harder difficulties and whatever else hakita has planned. Nothing wrong with waiting for the entire game, and it is nearing completion

Usually when you drop something (be it a game, hobby, project, or whatever) it's often very difficult to get motivated to continue. For me, Ultrakill was really fun to get into. But after doing the same stuff so many times, it got kind of boring and over time new games came out. Doesn't mean the game is bad, or that the devs should rush to push out content, but the wait between updates can definitely contribute.

This game really doesnt have that much replayability. I will P rank the entire layer in a few days and then forget about the game until layer 8's release, not very fun.

i think this is a case of you not liking the game enough to replay it more than once rather than the game not having much replayability

It's usually better to play games for the sake of playing games and not for the sake of hype. Just going to trap yourself in an endless loop of doing the same thing.

Sometimes this even means waiting to play the finished product instead of an unfinished version. Playing the game as the layers come out isn't very enjoyable if you've already played a lot.

i mean this game doesn't have a lot of replayability for now and he is right about that tbh, although it will prolly have more when brutal, ukmd and encore levels drop
