Core nuke just became semi-obsolete

If you dont know already, if you freeze a rocket for long enough, the rocket will get blue lines and will cause a big red explosion midair if you shoot it while frozen.

The problem is simple. The core nuke is mostly useless compared to this.

If you hit each of them with a red railgun, the rockets is significantly larger.
Whats worse is that you dont even need the railgun to cause a sizeable red explosion, all you have to do is shoot a frozen rocket with any hitscan weapon and you have a free nuke

the one upside to the core nuke is that you can quickly fire it of, but unless you can shoot it in under a second, theres no point to it.

semi-obsolete is just a really bad way of saying there is another option

i don't think so, core nukes can be done pretty much instantly, while a rocket nuke needs atleast 1 second of setup for the rocket to be overcharged, and the rocket can be detonated by enemies much more easily than a core can

rocket nukes are infinitely better than core nukes because they have an explosion radius of wherever the ♥♥♥♥ (bigger than the cybergrind stage) and you can literally get the same explosion from a core nuke without having to use the malicious railcannon by just shooting a charged rocket

also, if youre having trouble with enemies detonating your rockets, just jump up in the air where they cant reach you

one charge rocket + malicious railcannon is the equivalent of a nuke multiplied by 4, plus you can get the exact same explosion as a nuke without needing to use the railgun by just shooting a charged rockets

nuke gives TONS of speed does more damage right away is instant to setup and can happen anywhere immediately. the rocket needs to be shot wait in the air 1 second then it can be shot doing slightly less damage if it doesn't get interrupted and doesn't hit the ground. it doesn't give a quarter the speed a nuke does either. you cant just do a rocket nuke you have to plan it on the other hand you can at any time (as long as you have rail charged) within frames just pop a nuke to get you a mile away from the cyber grind arena or kill a large group of enemies immediately. (btw instead of wasting a rail cannon on rockets use a charged pistol shot)

Also, you can freeze rockets. And frozen rockets are easier to hit with malicious railcannon than cores.
