That actually makes sense, I always thought the machines were down there looking for blood like V1 is, but maybe their just stuck in hell. That would explain the growths on the Earthmover's legs
another thing we know, from the Earthmovers data entry, is that they all died out after the final war because of the sun being blocked out, so it isn't like they walked down there to get more blood. and judging from the amount of flesh inside this thing i would think it;s fairly safe to say that it might have produced it's own blood.
the flesh makes no sense to me so im thinking that its something hell related, especially since it seems like the flesh has rooted it to the ground
I won't go into detail, but the essential thing is that Hell likes Earthmovers for how they are the pinnacle of war and human cruelty, and since the ARG confirmed Hell nows how to operate human tech, it probably recreated them, as well as modified them to only be powered by blood, hence the usage of Hell energy and flesh in it's design.
