what to do while falling down a near endless shaft

guys i just obliterated an giant titan-like thing, i believe it's called an earth-mover. and now i'm just falling down an endless pit, what am i supposed to do until i reach the next location??

how did the enemies make it down to hell in the first place? they don't have movement gear like V1 does so they should've died from the fall

they literally died in the surface and went to hell, lore states

idk, earthmover lore says they needed sunlight to work, and when smoke covered the skies they died and went to keep fighting endlessly in hell
