After the release of Violent, I was thinking about the ultrakill lore and came to the conclusion (which may be wrong) that the human race became extinct after the bombings in Japan and V1/V2 were created during a possible war against them.

it is not known why the human race became extinct (yet)(i think?), but it probably was something like the robots becoming sentient searching for blood or environmental problems, since, you know, earth was absolutely destroyed after the Final War.

Also im pretty sure V1 was made as a counter against the Earthmovers, but war ended so they reused the model to create V2 for the Hell Expeditions.
