Report a translation problem
The V2 lore entry says that V1's production run was cancelled because of the establishment of the New Peace, so that update is presumably about the time the Final War ended. (and ergo OP is right about when the Final War started)
Also, between 1912 being very close to 1914 and the references to trench warfare, I'm guessing the implication is supposed to be that in the Ultrakill universe World War I really was the "war to end all wars", which I just love as a poetic thing.

Presumably the Final War was basically just WW1 but the stalemate kept going on thanks to the Germans making blood fueled robots, however later Japan still ended up militaristic and joining the war, and probably due to the fact that the focus on tech was on blood fueled combat robots meant that nukes were never invented so they still played a major role past 1945
I wonder if V1 and V2 are german too since the names kinda evoke the V1 and V2 rockets
