7-2 Steam Deck issues

7-2 is designed around the Whiplash, yet there is no way to use the whiplash on the Steam Deck. I’m currently using a deck, as my computer is having issues and refuses to work at the moment, so I’m curious as to how I can continue the game when I can’t use a necessary item to continue.

just use steam input controls to manually bind it to a button

I dunno about the steam deck, but, i assume the whiplash command is the same as for controllers (both shoulder buttons, R1 + L1 if on dualshock/dualsense, or LB + RB on xbox controller).
So, perhaps that should do the trick?

Thanks, I haven’t played using anything but keyboard and mouse before, but this worked.
