oh my god i am shaking and crying

i just spent 5 hours beating act 1 in one sitting. half of which was exclusively V2 and gabriel.
my wrist aches, my head hurts, and i'm oh so very very tired.
i'm just putting this out there, for my deplorable experience to be known by the few who see this. Below are some thoughts that i had throughout the marathon.

"How can you possibly dodge this?" "That chain of attacks is just too much" "i just can't process that much in time" "i don't have enough stamina to dodge this after the last attack" "i missed my railgun shot" "i couldn't heal in time" "how do i focus on shooting his speedy ass without getting my head blown off" "i switched to the wrong weapon" "how is that fair that he can just teleport right above me" "i can't react to that"
"why is there a phase 2"
"i want to go to bed"

So this is a skill issue, but im not here just to say that and leave, ultrakill can be a very hard game if youve played nothing like it before, you could try turning auto aim on in the settings if you have such a hard time aiming and focusing on dodging, you could slow enemies down by playing on a lower difficulty as well, you can make the game easier for yourself, or you can learn what works against what and how to play certain bosses.

i just beat minos prime with less deaths (86) than act 1 gabriel (129) lol, fight was fun af. Though by the end of it my eyes were tearing up from being absolutely hyper focused for an hour.
act 2 was never too stressful either, beat Apostate of Hate in 27 restarts. i guess the brutality of the Judge of Hell and V2 was enough to toughen me up.
Moral of the story: Never complete games in one sitting. It's miserable.
