probably the most overrated game on steam

definitely a case of too much hype, had so many people on my friends list say this game is the best shooter ever. really not that impressed. air movement feels bad, dodge and slide should have been the same move not split into two, and the boss battles are the worst part of the game, slow the pace down too much.

luckily i was given it for free, would def want a refund otherwise

This thread is beaten to hell already but I just feel like jumping in here to say that if you think the movement in this game is bad while the vast majority of people who play it think it is absolutely fantastic, I think the issue is that you're approaching the movement and its mechanics in a fundamentally misunderstood way rather than there being some issue with the movement mechanics themselves.

Watching some gameplay videos online by people who have sunk a decent chunk of time into the game should give a better idea of how the player is intended to move around the combat area while playing.

This is what I said earlier, pretty much. The general gameplay mechanics (particularly movement, actually) are not very well explained- Making it relatively easy to miss, and in turn, not understand the gameplay as a whole.

the final stage bosses do slow down the constant bullet hell battling with tons of enemies, but they are still pretty fun and challenging to do, plus if you want more of a challenge with the bosses you can go to sandbox and build your ideal boss battle.

Some guy made a "goodbye" thread about that he had died and his brother was using his account to notify us, in a MADNESS Project Nexus , eventually, they gave him some awards, the "dead guy" bought a new avatar decoration and deleted the thread so this isnt impossible
