it took me 23 attempts (as in i died 23 times) but others have gotten like 70-100+ deaths during the fight to beat it.
If you're already capable of that then you are capable of dunking on minos, but it'll take time to learn his attacks and timings so you can dodge properly and know when there are openings. First fight is always a wild ride, each time you get better though.
Soon enough you'll be bullying Minos for his lunch money with nothing but your fist
I’ve memorized all his attacks and their cues, perfected my combos and parry timing, and overall just put several hundred attempts into fighting him. It took about about 2 hours of GAMEPLAY for me simply BEAT him. A P rank of him took another 6. Now that I have a solid understanding of the boss, I can p-rank him on average every hour or so, once. That’s about 1/25 attempts.
So yeah, he’s hard, try and watch a video on him before going in to it, I recommend the guide by HerbMessiah.
flesh stage is easy as long as you can aim and dash storage
second part is more easly if you still gona use dash storage but may take more time and will hawe small windows for attacks
Flesh prison is arguably harder thanks to his stupid healing mechanic
Prime's a simple 1 on 1 that depends on your ability to parry his projectile and the final combo in his attacks
A few pumps of buckshot to his dome doesn't hurt either
make sure you have good timing to parry the snake and final attack.
here are also some quick tips :
-practice hitting coins in sandbox with a railcannon or pistol (make sure to enable no weapon cooldowns)
-his attacks are based on his dialogue, enable subtitles if you cant hear them.
-take breaks every now and then, to be stress free.
-dying is okay, its a normal thing while fighting minos prime.
-crush makes it so you take damage due to the blue ring, so slide if hes attacking, to save up on dashes.
Also this is only for Minos Prime himself not the boss before him
I disabled all weapons and tried fist only so I have more focus on the boss rather than
focusing on doing damage (also so that the weapon would not take up my view)
get good at saving dashes and using them resourcefully
I used this setup to get as good as possible as fast as possible, and at the time I was PRETTY bad at the game, it also made it alot more fun in my opinion
(and also his timing is pretty similar so get good at standard then switch to violent if you mainly play on that difficulty, personally I beat violent minos prime in my first or second attempt bc I got really good at the normal fight)
I think its alot like how people talk about Sekiro "its alot like a rhythm game" or "if your bad at rhythm games your not going to be good at this"
also coins only good for coin adds in the fight so don't bother using them
