How can I remove the laughing skeleton death screen?
Update:

The skull doesn't bother me at all anymore.

In an ironic twist, the only thing bothering me is the sheer quantity of people still telling me to get over it.

Wow.
I tried to phrase myself to NOT get these answers, but I guess I learned once more that the internet doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥.

Are there even mods for Ultrakill?

I found some, but there were mostly expert maps

For now only texture mods like ULTRADREAMED or maps made by the team (ex. HerbMessiah's maps). However we must wait for the full version to get our hands on the level editor, and hopefully mod support.

There was a working Roomba mod some time ago so not just textures and maps :)

If I was overpowered and the person controlling me died I'd laugh too

I don't think I have to mention that any variation of "Don't Die" isn't helping,
because If I wanted not to die, I would just play on the lowest difficulty unchallenged.
Dying is a natural part of improvment, this specific skeleton based problem is just unique to this game

Well, sorry for the typical response. Here are a few tips from someone with 100+ hours on the game.

- Never, EVER stop moving. Simple enough, hell you can even become invunerable when you slide when you perform a dash at the same time. Dashing itself makes you invunerable until it's over.

- Prioritize the bigger baddies first. Again, it needs no introduction.

- Use the Marksman coin to your advantage. You can punch it, shoot it with any hitscan weapon, overall just mess around with it and find your best tactic in Sandbox Mode or something. Hell, it can interrupt attacks of enemies like Soilders, Strays and Schisms and even insta-kill an enemy, that being the Streetcleaner.

- Use explosives or the Knuckle Blaster when encountering groups of baddies.

- Parrying also gives you health.

Overall, learn, die, improve. The death screen is pretty much unavoidable, even for players like me and those who are better than me. I see the death screen as more of a "What was THAT? You can do better kiddo!" type message. Just swallow it, shoot, move, rip, tear, and succeed! Best O' luck and have fun.
