Edit: Not being a fan boy either. What keeps me sucked into games is the possible creativity that can be used. Doom Eternal did that for me a little, but so far ultrakill has more creative possibilities thus im still playing it.

Gameplay wise doom eternal is the closest thing there is to ultrakill, aside from that there is also devil may cry but that isn't an FPS.
