Interesting note about Blood and V2 ( Spoilers for Greed )
Has anybody else noticed that it is extremely odd that V1 cannot absorb the blood that explodes out of V2's body when V2 hit's the sandstone floor? You can physically stand in the blast area of their blood after their fall, but V1 cannot absorb the blood. Could it be some other substance that isn't blood, some sort of synthetic unusable blood?

Is this a inconsistency within the game or is this something about the lore?

Futuristic tech blood
maybe both, my theory is that if a robot already spill some "robot used blood" another robot can't absorb the blood because MAYBE the blood has some sort of particular substance that heals metalics pieces, maybe v1 and v2 are built in iron, like blood has in some percent

Maybe it was just cool and there's no deep lore implications lol

I wouldn't want to put blood in me from the guy who ruined my lovely, classical-music-filled stroll through a church. Who knows what kind of things that hoodlum has in him.
Future Science IMO

That wasn't blood. V2 hit the ground so hard all the paint exploded off his body

Perhaps the V series spoil their internal blood reserves in some manner the instant their condition goes critical, in order to deprive their killer a fresh dose of blood.

I think its because thats not real blood, as the blood particle has nothing to do with healing. Instead, a spherical radius is created whenever something takes damage that heals the player

I mean yeah, that's the meta explanation, but what's the in-universe explanation?

There isn't one. Simply an oversight.
