how to beat V2?

im having an ear-tearing-off-ingly hard time beating v2. i just need movement and or weapon tips to beat it

I used the alt-fire of the nailgun to attach nails to him and when he did the slide I tried to get close to punch him to get some hp back. Using the coin attack when he is further away also helps reducing his healthbar as well as shotgun blast parry.

Open with the Nailgun magnet, Coin attack from afar, occasionally shotgun him up close for health. It's hard but you can make it.

A fully charged green shotgun explosion will take off around 1/4 of his health. Dash out of the way to avoid self damage and use coins if you can - any weapon that doesn't require perfect aim is incredibly useful for fighting him. If you can aim well, the alternate revolver will do massive damage, especially if you charge a piercing shot.

I would say a good piece of advice is actually not to panic and dash around too much, it makes it too hard to keep your aim on him. a lot of his attacks will actually miss if you just move normally, and baiting out his shots will give you a chance to counterattack. if your hp gets low go in with the pump shotgun to regain a lot of hp, the nailgun's burst attack is a boss HP destroyer, and the semi hidden tech of the shotgun parry (punching your own shot) will allow you to get big damage in relatively easy.

step 1: get the jumpstart nailgun
step 2: during his cutscene, hit him with coins in the first encounter and set up a saw trap for his second encounter
step 3: attach the wire to him once the fight starts
step 4: shoot him with whatever you want as long as you keep up with him
step 5: the jumpstart should instakill him once it is done charging
step 6: enjoy your whiplash/knuckleblaster
