V2 bossfight

How the hell do you kill this piece of crap? I've been stuck with his bossfight for the past hour.

I tried that but I can't hit him/her [you never know, except the dev] up close (due to his/her really really fast movement speed.) At least not enough to out heal his/her damage. Oh well, time to "Get good".

Yeah sorry I don’t wanna be that guy but the best advice I can give is to get good. Took me like an hour and 60 deaths to finally beat him on violent. Very fun boss though. But yeah from what I found using the pistol worked best, both secondary firing modes were equally good on him since they use hitscan. Using the magnet thing on the nail gun on him then switching to the heat sink to unload on him does a ♥♥♥♥ ton of damage to him too. Also if you want to do some secret hunting getting the Roman numeral tablet thingys in each level to get a certain something to make the rest of the game a bit easier. But yeah V2 seems to operate like a player with little set patterns or tells so focus on moving as much as possible while mixing up your direction and height so he can’t hit you at all, also don’t be afraid to get in close to heal since it seems he will panic up close as much as you will lol. But yeah good luck with the fight. With enough time you should be able to get him, you’ll need that same patience for the final boss so far haha

At least on normal, a double barrel to chest will full heal you, punch along with it to deal increased damage. Drain tank him down.

Fight it like fighting Jacob from Dusk, jump around like a lunatic while taking potshots at him with a hitscan weapon.

Revolver and coins, shotgun if you need healing.

I finally got it. I used the pistols charge shot to keep my distance and only got near v2 to heal using the shotgun.

I just used coins against him, then got close and unload my shotgun in his face. Repeat until he dies and then... prepare for devil trigger.

yo hes hard man but when you activate his 2nd phase you can juggle him in the air ala devil may cry for a bit

Highly recommend using the coin toss to hit him while dodging at some points. Otherwise, yeah, he's a pain in the ass. Wait until you get further along....

V2 is actually my favorite boss fight, it feels like a PvP arena fight. reminds me alot of Unreal Tournament PvP. I hope to see more fights like this.

Start the fight with either a full-charged pump-shotty while he is landing, or try to get an attractor on him for some good nailgun damage
Him sliding towards you is when you should slide towards him too, then pull out the shotty and blast him point-blank for full heal
Other than that you should alter between coin ricochets (preferably with a charged pistol shot, if you are fast enough) and an occasional shotty grenade

On Violent I juggled him with the nailgun up against a wall. He essentially just floated right above me and I healed all the while.
