Laboratory is very powerful when used with the Enhancement Chamber. I have 2 pure peasant constructs, one gear, one harvest. Not sure if the cost of the Laboratory is worth it for the other classes. It looks like I am also going to need a pure combat as well.
IMO the forge shouldn't give bad traits. I have an already infinite supply of bad dice, why tease me?
I realize its a small sample size, but 1/3 is really bad odds...
Also for future reference: constructs maybe cannot ascend? Or maybe you can only ascend one dice per run? I think you would be better off just ascending a maxed peasant and a maxed citizen, starting with those, and ignoring the slot machine. (I had 3 enhancement chambers when I won the run)
The only limitation is that the obelisk can "remember" only 1 die at a time, so you're limited by the number of those: 9 obelisks will allow you to ascend up to 9 dice
Would be nice if it locked the slot after using it, or said that in the description. I used it blind expecting it to destroy the dice, but when it didn't I spent 5 extra minutes feeding more dice through before I ended the run. Then I ended up with only one ascended die.
